A connected approach

SilkWayMilk is being developed as an integrated platform for industrial milk production and processing, supported by its own irrigated feed base and shared infrastructure.
The first hub is planned for Kazakhstan’s Zhambyl Region. It establishes the model for a wider network: coordinated operations, specialist technologies and a product mix shaped by regional demand.

CHDP (Clone Hub Dairy Platform) is SilkWayMilk’s project-specific approach to connecting irrigated agriculture, dairy production, processing and shared infrastructure in one coordinated platform. It gives the project a common operating architecture, with room to adapt to each region’s resources and market.

01Irrigated agricultureThe foundation of the feed base
An irrigated feed base supports the dairy herd. Field cultivation, irrigation and harvesting are coordinated with feed storage and preparation, linking agricultural planning to the needs of the farm.
02Dairy productionHerd care, milking and monitoring
Hub 1 is planned around 2,000 milking cows in free-stall housing, with a dedicated milking centre, herd monitoring and an in-house veterinary service. Feed preparation and delivery form part of the daily operating system.
03Milk processingA flexible dairy product portfolio
The planned processing block adds value to the hub’s milk through a flexible dairy product portfolio. Product selection and production scheduling will be aligned with regional demand and the final equipment configuration.
04Shared infrastructureConnecting operations and information
Energy, water, site infrastructure and digital integration connect the operating blocks. The planned data layer brings information from specialist systems together to support human decisions across the hub.

Pre-Implementation / Financing Confirmation
The project is in pre-implementation, with financing confirmation and investment-agreement preparation underway. Detailed design is planned to begin after the investment agreement is signed.
Published parameters describe the planned development. Engineering, final equipment configuration and implementation schedules will be refined as the project advances.
